ELECTRON MICROSCOPY

The advanced CNI Electron Microscopy facility features a Transmission Electron Microscope and two Scanning Electron Microscopes (one located in the clean room within the CEPSR building). Our mission is to train students and researchers in both the theory and practice of scanning and transmission electron microscopy while providing research and education services to Columbia University and the greater New York community. This lab supports research across various departments at Columbia and welcomes collaborations from other academic institutions, government laboratories, and industrial users, from startups to large corporations.

Don’t miss our introduction video clip about the EM lab here and our TEM application flyer.
